Episode 27: We Won’t Buy You Roses

Posted by retcast on March 4th, 2009

This episode is devoted to the awesomeness that is Name of the Wind. Our great friend Jedi Poet, the primary force behind bringing this book to our attention, joins us once again to geek out over this amazing book. Listen to us rant, rave, and swoon over anything and everything we think of in connection to this brilliant novel.

Spoilers abound, by the way. While I won’t tell you not to listen to the episode if you haven’t read the book, I will suggest that you will certainly get a whole lot more out of it if you have. That said, if you don’t mind having particular plot points revealed, I’m sure you’ll be quite entertained.

If you have anything at all you wish to share with us, please email us at retcast@gmail.com, whether you have comments, questions, suggestions, or an interest in appearing on the show. You can also donate via PayPal, if you feel generous. As a final note, I suggest you go buy the book, if you don’t own it already.

“Name of the Wind” is on my to-read list. I’m only a chapter or two into it, and I’m already intrigued.
