Our good friend Nathan Gay returns with a vengeance, to cover Retcast’s Top 3s of 2008. We make the tough decisions of picking our favourite television shows, books, videogames, and movies from last year. While there is some rule-breaking, namely from Poet, going beyond the “three” limit, we still have a good ol’ time reminiscing about the year past.

We also celebrate our twenty-fiftth episode. Thanks to everyone who has listened and supported us, we appreciate all of you out there in the vast interwebs. As Poet says, this was a very good quarter, and we wouldn’t have gotten here without our listeners. Thank you.

Firstly, I want to apologize for this episode… namely to Rekon, our guest. This was very ill-prepared, and as such, it’s pretty much a complete trainwreck. Don’t get me wrong, it was a fun episode. But you’d find more structure in fucking chocolate pudding.

We do get into some fairly interesting topics, especially near the end when we start reading our email questions. There’s a pretty interesting discussion about the future of Retcast, and some plans we have for the future. We also discuss some job-related woes, and the bullshit that is winter.

A new year, and a new schedule! As of 2009, Retcast will be released every Thursday.

Our good friend Brian returns to the show to talk about some stuff concerning the new year… At least that’s what we tried to do. It ended up as Billy talking about anything and everything that came into his head. While there is some logical discussion about movies and games we enjoyed in 2008, and what we’re looking forward to in 2009, it was mostly just Billy telling us what he managed to do while skipping class in tenth grade.
