Episode 2: Jedipoet Sucks

Jonixlord joins the crew as Retcast’s first guest. Ramblings of comic geeks ensues, along with some banter regarding videogames, movies, and other things that fall into the category of “nerd”.

Another good episode. A few comments:
***SPOILERS***
1) Hercules and the God Squad were tasked by Athena to kill the Skrull gods. The reasoning being that if their gods are killed, then they have no reason to fight, and will lack the will and power.
Unfortunately for them, Athena was really a Skrull, so they’re on a wild goose chase/suicide mission, and it was all really a ploy to get rid of the most powerful members of each pantheon.
2) The Question was pretty cool, and they really developed him into an awesome character in 52, but unfortunately, he died of cancer in the same book. REALLY GOOD STORY! Pick up 52 and read it!
Now, Renee Montoya, who was fired for being drunk all the time, has gotten her life back together (due to the Question) and is the new Question. Again, check out 52, and Crime Bible: 5 Lessons in Blood.
3) Captain America’s Killer was none other than Sharon Carter, Agent of SHIELD, former liason to the Avengers, and, as mentioned, girlfriend of Steve Rogers.
