In this edition Retcast Movie Club, we watch and discuss Iron Man 2 in anticipation of Marvel's The Avengers! Brandon invites Data, Jason, and Ren along for the fun-filled ride of this highly underrated Marvel film as we count down the days until The Avengers' release. We stick mostly to the events of the film, but stray here and there to speculate about the summer movies of 2012 and the future of the Marvel movies, among other random discussion. Great commentary, we hope you enjoy.
Note: I didn't edit this too thoroughly, since it's a commentary and didn't need much cutting or rearranging. I tried to sync up the audio as best I could, and fix what glaring errors I found. If, however, I missed something, please let me know and I will work to edit and reupload it (time codes would be helpful if you find specific audio issues).
This is also, technically, the first release of Retcast Lightning Round; there are still two more episodes being edited at the moment, and at least two more to be recorded. The schedule has been slower than expected, but I'm still happy with what I've been able to produce over the last little while. Thanks to those who've joined me thus far. What up bitches! You miss us? No? Well too bad, we're busting all over your inter-faces with our retcocks. This ain't no goddamn April Fools' joke, we're back after a short (not even worth mentioning) break, not at all caused by Puma's failure to edit shows on a reliable time table. It's Poet's fault I swears. (Puma wrote this synopsis BTdub)
Anyways, got a great show for you lovelies this week. Data, Brandon, and Mr. Poet start the show off with some TV, movie, and video game discussion. (Be warned, there's a few Walking dead season 2 spoilers in there.) Then a wild Puma appears, fashionably late to talk about his adventures at Megacon, and the gang discuss Convention shenanigans. Hilarity ensues and our four heroes close off the show with a make out competition... I mean what?

Hello listeners and friends alike, Brandon here. I just wanted to let you guys know what's up with the show, because we haven't really posted anything as to why we haven't posted or recorded anything in a while.
The first delay happened because Christmastime was busy with Maeghan and I heading back to Barrie with our families over the holidays, which hung up the release of Episode 125. And then upon returning home after the new year, I immediately started school in January. It has been really crazy and busy, which has that's taken a further toll on editing and recording Retcast.
The first few weeks of school were just ridiculous in terms of getting myself organized and getting used to my schedule, but we managed to record another episode while I whittled away at 125 in my almost nonexistent free time. And then disaster struck; I fried my laptop's sound card by spilling soup on the keyboard. I am an idiot.
Basically this meant that my speakers wouldn't work and as such couldn't finish editing the couple episodes I had in waiting. Puma kindly took upon himself to edit Episode 126, while I transfered 125's data over to Maeghan's computer and started working on it there. Finally, after a couple more weeks, I manged to finish this long overdue episode and post it for you guys; no word from Puma, but I'm sure 126 will be out soon enough as well.
So what's the status of the show right now? I don't really know. I obviously want to keep doing it, do not think this is the end for Retcast. In Episode 126 I talk about how, since I'm so busy with school, if we're going to continue releasing episodes on a regular schedule then we're going to have to release the episodes essentially unedited, which I'm sure you'll hear about more in the coming weeks.
But how am I to record without a fully-functional computer? I am working on getting a new laptop though school, but the process is long and I'm not sure how it'll work out. In the meantime, I may be able to use Maeghan's computer to record, though we haven't tested it yet. Alternatively, Billy could record on his own with various other folks until I get myself back up and running, though we haven't talked recently so I'm not sure if he's up for that.
I think that's about it for now. Keep an eye on our Facebook page and the thread for regular updates about what's going on. Be sure to email us, or just send a message to me or Billy, if you guys have any suggestions. Thanks again for all of your patience, we really do appreciate every listener and supporter out there.

Holy shit it's a fucking episode. It's been more than a month since we posted an episode. I think this has been our longest break ever... And I've barely kept you guys up to date as to why, sorry about that. I will make a blog post following this one to give a rundown as to what's up.
Onto the episode!! Shit's long, but funny (kind of like my dick... wait). Puma joins us to drink some wine and talk about Batman, movie trailers, Batman, family, Batman, and some other stuff. Also Batman. Standard drunk episode. Also of note, the topics in this episode are pretty much way out of date because it was recorded more than a month ago. But it's still funny! Shut up.
